Mr Tran Dai Hung

Born on 11th January 1945, the Hon. Mr Tran Dai Hung graduated from the prestigious Hanoi Law University and has specialised in the field of procuracy for more than 30 years. Before his graduation, he joined the army for the course of national defence against foreign invasion. As Vice President of the Vietnam Lawyers Association (VLA), Mr Tran made considerable contributions to the all-round development of the VLA, and especially the foreign relations with China and ASEAN countries after his appointment as the Director of the Center for Vietnam - China - ASEAN Legal Information and Consultancy in March 2006. Prior to his appointment as Chairman of ALA Vietnam, Mr Tran also served as Permanent Vice Head of Central Commission for Internal Affairs of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
