Justice Dato' Hashim Bin Dato' Haji Yusoff

The Honourable Justice Dato' Hashim received his legal education from Lincoln's Inn, London in 1973. He joined the Malaysian Judicial and Legal Service as a Magistrate that year. Over the next twenty years, he held various posts, as Magistrate, President of the Sessions Court, Deputy Public Prosecutor, Legal Adviser to the Royal Customs and Excise Department, Director of Legal Aid Malaysia, Official Assignee, Penang State Legal Adviser, Senior Federal Counsel in the Attorney-General's Chambers, Deputy Parliamentary Draftsman, Senior Sessions Court Judge, Chairman of the Advisory Board in the Prime Minister's Department and Chief Registrar of the Federal Court.

Dato' Hashim was appointed a Judicial Commissioner in 1994, a High Court Judge in 1995, a Judge of the Court of Appeal in 2002 and a Judge of the Federal Court in 2006. He has been involved in the ASEAN Law Association since 1984 and has been Chairman of the National Committee of Malaysia since 1995.
