Chief Justice Dr. H. Harifin A. Tumpa, SH. MH.

The Honourable Chief Justice Prof Dr Harifin A. Tumpa SH MH received his Bachelor of Laws from the prestigious University of Hasanuddin, Makassar in 1972 before proceeding to Rijks Universiteit Netherland for post-graduate studies. The Honourable Chief Justice was also awarded Master of Law by University of Krisna Dwipayana in Jakarta in 2000 and Doktor of Law by University Gajah Mada in Jogjakarta in 2006.

The Honourable Chief Justice embarked on his illustrious career as Judge of the District Court in West Jakarta. He was steadily promoted to various senior positions in the judicial service, culminating in his appointment as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia in 2009. The Honourable Chief Justice is concurrently the Chairman of the ALA National Committee of Indonesia. Official CV
